ABOUT PASSPORT TO TEACH
Teaching abroad should feel exciting—not overwhelming.
Passport to Teach helps U.S.-based educators find teaching opportunities in China and navigate everything that comes with the move—from choosing the right school to visas, relocation, and settling into life abroad.
Why We Built Passport to Teach
Moving abroad can be one of the most rewarding decisions a teacher makes—but finding the right opportunity is often harder than it should be. Teachers are asked to evaluate unfamiliar schools, understand overseas contracts, navigate work visas, find housing, and prepare for life in a new country—often while working with recruiters thousands of miles away. Passport to Teach was created to make that process more transparent, personal, and supportive. We help educators understand their options, connect with vetted teaching opportunities, and navigate the practical details of moving to China. Most importantly, our support doesn’t stop once a teacher accepts a job.
